  1. Hampton Carousel

    After being closed for over a year due to the pandemic, the Hampton Carousel opens for the 2021 season on June 1 with COVID protocols. Located in Carousel Park and operated by the Hampton History Museum, the former Buckroe Beach carousel is one of the City of Hampton’s most treasured historic assets. Built in 1920, the carousel is completely restored to its original beauty and housed in its own weather-protected pavilion at Carousel Park on the city’s downtown waterfront. It is one of only 170 antique wooden merry-go-rounds still existing in the U.S. Hand crafted by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company for the Buckroe Beach Amusement Park, Hampton's Carousel is a whirling tribute to the skill of its creators. The Hampton Carousel will operate under federal, state and City of Hampton COVID-19 protocols. Guests will be required to wear masks when inside the carousel building, practice social distancing, and use hand-sanitizer before and after rides.

  2. Mashup & Cozy Condition -- Live at the Point

    July 8, 2021, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Mill Point Park

    Live music is back in Hampton! Downtown Hampton is ecstatic to present Live at the Point events. The eight-member Mashup & Cozy Condition are from Richmond and combine classic funk and modern production. Food and beverage vendors at this event will be Black Pearl, Boyd’s Tasty Dogs, and Polar Snow. This event is free and open to the public.

  3. Music by the Bay Summer Concert Series -- Rhythm in Blue

    July 8, 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM @ Fort Monroe's Continental Park

    Music by the Bay is back! Join us for our free concert in Continental Park. Tonight's performers are the USAF Rhythm in Blue (Jazz Band). In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Fort Monroe Theatre at 41 Tidball Road.
