  2. Dispose of Unwanted Prescription Drugs in Drive-Thru

    You can stay in your car and safely dispose of unwanted prescription drugs on April 24 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Hampton Sheriff's Office Carmel Center parking lot, 136 Kings Way. It's drive-thru only. The Prescription Drug Takeback is part of a nationwide effort by the Drug Enforcement Administration and local authorities to help the public "prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs." Youth and Young Adult Opportunities

  1. Unite in Action Challenge

    April 12, 2021, 12:00 PM - April 26, 2021, 5:00 PM

    Design a service-learning project where groups of trusted adults and young people work together to share information about positive resources and ways to reduce violence in the community. Must be a project developed by youth and adults. Winners will be announced on May 3 and will receive funding to put their plan into action. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. April 26. Projects are due Sunday, June 20.
