    Beyond the Bell is a quality recreational before and after school program offering activities within a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. Children explore a variety of activities daily including academic enrichment, arts & crafts, recreational play and more. Snack and Dinner will be provided. Ages 6-12.   2. Tret Fure in Concert

    September 18, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Hampton History Museum

    Enjoy an evening of original music with multi-award-winning singer/songwriter Tret Fure as part of our monthly music series. While Newport News, VA is home to Fure, she spends much of the year on the road, sharing her talents at venues and festivals around the country. The Hampton History Museum concert is a rare opportunity for area fans, and lovers of finely crafted storytelling folk music, to hear her on her own turf. Tret Fure began her career at the age of 16, singing in coffeehouses and campuses in the Midwest. A prolific artists in the contemporary singer-songwriter arena, Tret Fure has released 16 albums and CDs over the course of her 48 year career. Now Tret has released a stunning collection of songs on her latest CD "Roses in November”. You will hear music from her most recent release, as well as from her highly acclaimed catalog of songs. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Hampton History Museum.
