  3. Public input meeting on Parks Master Plan

    August 20, 2019, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Hampton Roads Convention Center

The City of Hampton is seeking input, ideas, and dreams for the future of the Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services. The department is developing an updated Master Plan. If you have an interest in parks and recreation, we want to hear from you! If you are unable to attend the meeting, an online survey will be available. The Parks and Recreation Master Plan will look at the existing parks, recreational facilities, programs, and services, and will help guide the future of parks and recreation based on public input. The plan will prioritize the needs and desires for upgrading and improving parks, recreational facilities, amenities, programs, and services. The City of Hampton has hired GreenPlay, LLC, a nationally-known parks and recreation management consulting firm, to oversee the plan. If you have any questions regarding either the Parks and Recreation Master Plan or survey please contact Alison Eubank, Placemaking Planner, at aeubank@hampton.gov or 757.728.5238.
