    The nature trail access to Grandview Beach Nature Preserve is getting a facelift, but the work will close the trail weekdays until mid-July. The access will remain open on Saturdays, Sundays and the long Fourth of July weekend (July 4-7).

  2. Mayor's Cup Blood Drive

    The city of Hampton and the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on June 6 at City Hall and June 27 at the Ruppert Sargent Building.     The Sheriff's Office will provide an overview of current vacancies, job expectations and pre-screening requirements, deadline information and address all questions. Application deadlines will be provided. Please do not bring cell phones, weapons, contraband or children. Applicants must be at least 20 years old, a high school or GED graduate, a U.S. citizen, be fingerprinted, and pass a criminal background check, agility test, written test, oral interview, DMV records check (not more than -2), polygraph, physical exam and drug testing.
