Hampton Fire & Rescue’s international accreditation renewed for 5 more years

Aug. 25, 2021 — Hampton’s Division of Fire and Rescue has received international accreditation for another five years. The division was first accredited by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International in 2016.

Sewer replacement work will create detours on Old Buckroe Road

Oct. 17, 2022 - HRSD crews will be installing sanitary sewer pipelines on Old Buckroe Road, forcing a road closure for through traffic that is expected to last for a year. Work is expected to begin this week near Colonial Acres Drive.

Oct. 14, 2022 — To combat increasing costs of trash and recycling collection, Public Works Director Jason Mitchell proposed to City Council that Hampton adopt a series of measures focused on residents who repeatedly violate the rules.

Free grand opening events for Aquaplex swim center on Oct. 29
