[ARCHIVED] WWII Veteran Guest Speaker at Hampton History Museum's "Lunch-in-Time"

On Oct 15th at 12:00 Noon, the Hampton History Museum will feature Col. Edward Shames, a decorated WWII veteran, as their "Lunch-in-Time" guest speaker. Shames, a member of “Easy Company,” 101st Airborne Division, has been featured in the acclaimed “Band of Brothers” story and participated in many of the hardest-fought battles of the war, including the invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 and the Battle of the Bulge. He received a battlefield commission for his leadership and bravery.
