[ARCHIVED] former teen center is now a performing arts and activity center

Hampton’s Teen Center is now the Performing Arts and Activity Center, with everything from acting classes and theatre troupes, dance classes, a recording studio and vocal classes - all under one roof and for all ages.

The Performing Arts Center at 303 Butler Farm Road will have an open mic night for families, teens and young adults, concerts featuring local artists, performances in the state-of-the art theatre, poetry sessions, songwriting workshops and much more.

The Center is also home for the Musical Mosaic Vocal Ensemble, Powerhouse Poets, and Inner-tainer Theatre Troup.

Special information sessions for the Center will be held Friday, Aug. 15 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday Aug. 16 from noon-2 p.m. Come meet the instructors and tour the building!

After school program will be available with membership in the Center, which is $15 for those 6-18 and #20 for those 19 and older.
