Five-Alarm Festival offers food, fun, and safety for the family

Oct 2, 2023 - The Hampton Fire Division's annual Five-Alarm Festival features firefighting equipment, fire safety information -- and for the children -- a bounce house, an obstacle course, face painting, a balloon artist, and more.

One major goal of the festival is to increase awareness of fire dangers and to promote fire safety through educational and preventive activities. Cooking is the leading cause of home fires and home injuries, followed by heating fires.

The free festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Syms Middle School, 170 Foxhill Road.
