The Storyweavers - Wednesday, June 21, 6-8 pm

The Storyweavers 2023 SQ

Getting set to release their second CD, this talented group, whose beautifully crafted songs connect to the audience, debuted their first CD "Fallen Sparrow" at the museum in August 2018.

The Storyweavers were our final concert before Covid in February 2020, and returned to the to relaunch our music series in July 2021. Since that time the evolution of The Storyweavers has been an exciting one with the addition of Anne Thow, drummer/vocals and Amy Ferebee and Cat Sprague on guitar and vocals.  Standing tall are Beth Whyle on bass and vocals, Jennifer McLaughlin Performance Artist, Annie James as our ASL Interpreter and Sheela Fortner Singer/Songwriter…(you might remember some of these ladies from the long-time rock band, Mermaids in the Basement) Their sound with The Storyweavers has become just as intended, with storytelling before the song that conjured the story to be played, thus the name The Storyweavers. They bring excitement and joy to their performance with a lively sound that will have you hooting & hollering and dancing.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Hampton History Museum.

Admission is free for museum members and $5 for non-members. Not yet a member? Join today and save!
