Here’s a look at how these city offices, departments, or services will be affected by the Independence Day holiday on Monday, July 4.

City Offices                          Closed Monday, July 4.

Garbage collection                No pickup on Monday, July 4. Those Monday collections will be made on Wednesday, July 6.

Street sweeping                     No sweeping on Monday, July 4. Monday’s scheduled sweeping will be done on Wednesday, July 6. Wednesday’s scheduled sweeping will be done                                                           on Friday, July 8.

Yard waste site                     Closed Monday, July 4.

Landfill                                 Closed Monday, July 4.

Libraries                                Closed Monday, July 4.

Community centers               Closed Monday, July 4.

Neighborhood centers           Closed Monday, July 4.

Hampton Aquatic Center      Closed Monday, July 4.

Fort Monroe Pool                 Closed Monday, July 4.

Treasurer’s Office &            Closed Monday, July 4.
