[ARCHIVED] Free city calendars available with key dates, city landmarks

calendar cover 2022

Jan. 4, 2022 - Hampton city calendars for 2022 are available at city facilities while supplies last. The calendars feature original artwork of the landmarks that comprise the city's branding icons and have dates for key events in the city.

The calendars were popular in 2019 and 2020 but were not produced in 2021 because the return of events was uncertain. The wall calendars are available free of charge at City Hall (22 Lincoln Street) and the Ruppert Sargent Building (1 Franklin Street), as well as at all libraries and community centers.

The calendar features original artwork by Anne-Marie Dwyer depicting iconic locations and landmarks around the city, from the Hampton Coliseum and the Hampton Roads Convention Center, to images of blue crabs and Hampton One design sailboats.

Each month's calendar page contains details about events, promotions and programs being held at venues around the city. Event dates still could change, and residents and visitors are advised to sign up for the city's electronic newsletters to get updates
