[ARCHIVED] Director of Criminal Justice Agency presented "Outstanding Service Award for VCCJA Leadership"

Nov 29, 2021 — While attending the Virginia Community Criminal Justice Association's (VCCJA) 25th Anniversary Training Conference, Marcus Dennis, the Director of the Hampton/Newport News Criminal Justice Agency, was presented with the "Outstanding Service Award for VCCJA Leadership". This peer nominated award recognizes the extraordinary contributions of VCCJA members, agencies, organizations and individuals in the criminal justice field and is recognized at the conference annually.

Marcus began his career in law enforcement with Juvenile Probation, then joined the City of Hampton as a Probation Officer in 2002. He was then promoted to Pretrial supervisor in 2010, and in 2018 was promoted again to Director of the Criminal Justice Agency. Congratulations Marcus!
