Flood will explore the “Myths” that hide our Patriotic Past and reveal the true motives and actions that led to the creation of the United States of America.

Flood is CEO of the American Revolution Consortium for Civic Education and The Real American Revolution education television series, respectively. He began his career on the professional staff of the U.S. Senate, followed by teaching government courses on the legislative and budget processes at George Washington University and other colleges and universities. A frequent speaker at historical societies and museums, and other public events, he now lectures on over 40 topics pertaining to the American Revolution. Currently, he is administering a National Park Foundation grant and implementing a comprehensive training program to educate teachers, museum personnel, national and state park rangers and the general public about the Revolution in preparation for celebrating the 250th Anniversary.
