[ARCHIVED] Ft. Monroe pool temporarily closed; lap swimming moves to Aquatic Center

May 28, 2021 — The swimming pool at Fort Monroe has been closed until further notice because of a heater malfunction.

Lap swimming for residents has been moved to the Hampton Aquatic Center, 300 Butler Farm Road. Lap swimming will be open by appointment only Monday-Thursday, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Swimming lanes can be reserved for one hour, starting 24 hours in advance, at hampton.gov/Parks/Register (under facility rentals).
