[ARCHIVED] Contractor will begin repaving in Sharon Bass Drive, Beach Road area

April 16, 2021 - Beginning next week, a city contractor will begin repaving several streets in the Beach Road, Sharon Bass Drive area, including:

  • Sharon Bass Drive from cul-de-sac to Beach Road
  • Chipper Lane from cul-de-sac to Sharon Bass Drive
  • Tiffany Lane from cul-de-sac to Sharon Bass Drive
  • Brians Court from cul-de-sac to Sharon Bass Drive
  • Clark Road from cul-de-sac to Beach Road
  • Edgewater Road from dead-end to Beach Road
  • Wallace Road from dead-end to a dead end
  • Horton Road from dead-end to Beach Road
  • Willow Road from dead-end to Beach Road
  • Routten Road from dead-end to Beach Road
  • Windmill Point Road from #26 Windmill Point Road. to Johnson Road
  • Algernourne Street from cul-de-sac to Johnson Road
  • Johnson Road from Windmill Point Road to Beach Road
  • Grundland Road from cul-de-sac to Beach Road

The repaving is expected to take about two weeks, barring any delays, and should e finished the week of May 4. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Motorists are asked not to park in the roadway during work hours, reduce their speed and follow traffic control measures. There may be some disruptions during the repaving, which will be monitored by Public Works' Streets and Bridges division.
