[ARCHIVED] Downown Holly Days Parade set for Dec. 14

Nov. 8, 2013 - This December, let the joy of the holiday season take over at the Hampton Holly Days Parade: Joy to the World. The free event, which takes place downtown at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, is one of the largest annual illuminated parades in Hampton Roads.

This year, the City of Hampton is pleased to announce the St. John’s Episcopal Church Choir as Grand Marshal. In addition to the appearance of the St. John’s Episcopal Church Choir, the Hampton Holly Days Parade will feature 80 units, including 22 beautiful floats, six marching bands, The Lighted Dog Brigade, lovely ladies, military honor units, and everyone’s favorite holiday guest…Santa Claus!
