Aug. 5, 2020 - UPDATE: Power restored to Ruppert Sargent building, It is business as usual Wednesday, Aug. 6

EARLIER: A power outage will keep the Ruppert Sargent building closed on Tuesday, Aug. 5. 


The Ruppert Sargent building houses the Treasurer’s office and the Commissioner of the Revenue’s office, which handle taxes as well as some DMV operations. Also in the building are the Assessor’s and the Economic Development departments for the city and schools headquarters.

The Treasurer and Commission of the Revenue staff should report to work at noon today. Many other city employees in the building will continue teleworking but should check with their supervisor for specific instructions.
