July 15, 2020 - The city will provide supplies for preventing Covid-19 to some of our most vulnerable communities. The outreach is focused on the Aberdeen, Carybrook and Old North Hampton neighborhoods. Residents can pick up free masks and hand sanitizer at the Y.H. Thomas Neighborhood Center and West Hampton Community Center on Friday, July 17, and Monday, July 20. Drive-through pickup is available from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Hampton is participating in the Virginia Health Equity Project in partnership with the Virginia Department of Heath & Virginia Department of Emergency Management. The goal is to distribute nearly 20,000 pieces of personal protective equipment to vulnerable communities.
