[ARCHIVED] Voters go to polls today to elect Hampton mayor, council, school board members


May 19, 2020 - Voters go to the polls today to elect the mayor, City Council members and Hampton School Board members. All polling sites will be open from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Voters are encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing. They can also bring their own black ball-point pen. Absentee voters have until 7 p.m. to drop their ballots off in a dropbox located in the back of the Ruppert Sargent Building at 1 Franklin St. Questions? Go to or call 757-727-6218.
