[ARCHIVED] Resources and information available for employees who may work remotely

March 18, 2020 — As most of us prepare for the possibility of working remotely, we wanted to provide you some information to help this transition go a little more smoothly. We have modified the Employee Connection homepage so that our workforce can easily access the most common employee tasks (Kronos, email, Office 365, New World, IT Helpdesk, etc.). Some of these systems require you to be logged into the network for access, so please speak with your supervisor for remote access information. If you have a question or would like additional information added not listed there, please email marketing@hampton.gov.

The best way to stay up-to-date with the latest employee-related information is by signing up to receive notifications from our Employee Connection newsflash through Notify Me. You can opt-in to receive an email to your work or home email address, text message, or both whenever there is an item posted to the website (such as messages from the City Manager, closures, and benefits information). For those who do not have access to their work email from home, this can help bridge the communication gap and keep you informed. Attached are instructions on how you can sign up. Please share this information with other employees who may not have access to this email.
