[ARCHIVED] Hampton Sheriff’s Office Donates School Supplies

School Supply Drive

The Hampton Sheriff’s Office completed its fourth annual Back to School Supply Drive in September. Once again, Deputies and staff answered Sheriff B. J. Roberts’ challenge to ensure that a lack of school supplies would not limit Hampton students’ academic performance. Hundreds of items were collected to include notebooks, crayons, paper, pencils, and pencil boxes to name a few. Sheriff Deputies and staff delivered the items to Bassette Elementary and Hunter B. Andrews Pre-K-8 School. The two schools will distribute the supplies to students during the school year.
