Oct. 2, 2019 - Learn more about the Baha'i faith on Monday, Oct. 21, from 6-8 p.m. during a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Bab, a key figure in Baha'i history. Established in 1863, the Baha'i faith teaches the essential worth of all religions and the unity and equality of all people. The celebration Oct. 21 gives everyone a chance to join in the readings of sacred scriptures, enjoy important stories and listen to music while uniting in prayer. It will be held at the Northampton Community center, 1435 A Todds Lane, Hampton. Light refreshments will be provided.  Register by calling 757-727-8311 or by going online.
