[ARCHIVED] Crawlin' Crab half marathon, 5K and kids kilometer return to Hampton Oct. 5-6

Sept. 24, 2019 - Cheer on your favorite racer, enjoy craft beers and much more when the Neighborhood Harvest Crawlin' Crab Half Marathon returns to Hampton Oct. 5-6. The largest running event on the Peninsula, the Crawlin' Crab includes a half marathon, a 5K and a kids kilometer over the course of two days. "With flat, fast courses, incredible scenery, and a post-race party second-to-none, it's is an ideal race for all participants," said Jerry Frostick, race director. "The Hampton communities really get behind this race and come out to cheer and support our runners," Frostick said.

In addition to the races, which start and end at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, the weekend will include a free sports and fitness expo at the Convention Center on Friday, Oct. 4, from 2-6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.  You can go online to find out more about the races, including registration costs. The Crawlin' Crab is a J&A Racing event presented by Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Orthopedics.
