[ARCHIVED] Veterans invited to free health fair at Fort Monroe Community Center on Oct. 5

Sept. 23, 2019 - The Alliance for Veterans Health and Hampton's Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services Department will present a free Veterans Health Fair and Adapted Sports Day on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Hampton's Fort Monroe Community Center, 100 Stillwell Road. There will be healthcare screening, referral and information stations on hearing, dental care, mental wellness, vision, podiatry, employment opportunities and much more. There will also be a complimentary breakfast and lunch, plus a free goody bag in appreciation of your service to the nation. Please bring a copy of your military I.D. or DD form 214 for the health fair. Register at https://www.eventbrite.com. And, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a free wheelchair basketball game that begins at 1:30 p.m.
