[ARCHIVED] City Manager's Message: Reminders about customer parking

Aug. 1, 2019 — I am writing to remind everyone of the importance of keeping customer parking and timed parking available for our residents. We continue to have issues with employees parking in visitor spots Downtown around the Ruppert Sargent Building, Hampton City Hall, Healthy Families and the Hampton History Museum. While I realize it is more convenient to park in spaces directly next to a building, it is simply not appropriate.
