[ARCHIVED] We Need Your Old Greeting Cards!

Greeting Cards Photo 2018 for boxes reuse lesson

The Hampton Clean City Commission conducts an activity that teaches people about the concept of reuse by showing them how to make small gift boxes out of greeting cards. It's a popular activity, and we use a lot of cards.

  • We need donations of all kinds of greeting cards - Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Thinking of You, Thank You, birthday, welcome baby, graduation, and others.
  • We need the complete card, front page and back page. You can black out the names if you prefer.
  • You can also donate cards that come to your house as part of a donation request.

The cards can be delivered to the Hampton Clean City Commission at 1296 Thomas Street.

If you would like to see how the cards become boxes, visit this link for an online tutorial: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151715373696502&type=1&l=553589c351
