History Museum needs boxes for January's 'Build the City' at convention center

Nov. 27, 2018 - The Hampton History Museum is looking for cardboard boxes for the upcoming “Build The City” event at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. The whole family is invited to join the fun on Saturday, Jan. 19. Come show your crafting skills and learn how Hampton grew as a city by building a scale model of downtown using cardboard and other materials. But we can’t build the city without boxes, so the museum is asking for anyone who has an empty box to spare to drop it off at one of two locations:

  • The History Museum, 120 Old Hampton Lane, Hampton
  • Air Power Park, 413 West Mercury Boulevard, Hampton
