[ARCHIVED] Employees encouraged to attend briefing on dental, vision and flexible spending accounts

Nov. 7, 2018 - Open enrollment for the 2019 dental, vision and flexible spending accounts started Monday, Nov. 5 and end at noon on Nov. 21.

 City employees are encouraged to attend one of several upcoming briefings to become more familiar with the plans and benefits. There has been no change to your benefits for the upcoming year and no increase in premiums for 2019. The briefings are:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 7 at  3 p.m. in the Veterans Conference Room of the Ruppert Sargent Administration Building, 1 Franklin St.
  • Friday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. in room 223 at the Department of Human Services, 1320 LaSalle Ave.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. in City Council Chambers on the 8th floor of City Hall, 22 Lincoln St.
  • Thursday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. in the Veterans Conference Room of the Ruppert Sargent Building.

Employees are encouraged to coordinate their attendance with their supervisor or department head. For those who cannot attend a briefing, there will be an online employee chat at noon Wednesday, Nov. 7.  This is a convenient way for you to ask your open enrollment questions without leaving your desk. afterwards, the questions and answer will remain available online.
