Due to weather, schedule conflicts, Home Repair Blitz has been postponed

canceled

Oct. 17, 2018 - Due to the weather forecast and scheduling problems, the Home Repair Blitz set for this weekend has been postponed until May 4.

The twice-a-year Blitz is a chance for the elderly, disabled, veterans or low-income residents to get help making repairs to their homes. It is sponsored by the city, Habitat for Humanity and the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority, with support from various community groups and organizations, including the United Way.

All labor & materials for the Blitz are provided by community sponsors and volunteers for free or at minimal cost to eligible homeowners.
