[ARCHIVED] Senior advisory committee is accepting nominations for 2018 Senior Citizenship Award

Oct. 5, 2018 - The Senior Citizen Advisory Committee, in partnership with Hampton's Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services Department, is accepting nominations for the 2018 Senior Citizenship Award through Nov. 1. 

Nominees must be between the ages of 70-90 years old, reside in the city of Hampton, and have enhanced the community through their life's work, engagement of others, volunteerism and/or selfless acts of service to the community.

Nomination packets can be submitted to the Hampton Senior Center, 3501 Kecoughtan Road,  or at any Hampton community center. Award recipients will be notified by November 16, 2018, and must be present for the presentation of the award during a celebratory luncheon December 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Hampton Senior Center.
