ideas-nf-title

Oct. 5, 2018 - Help kick off a major update to the city’s Community Plan.

The new plan — Hampton 2040 — will be a road map for the city’s future, and we want your perspective to set the right course. What is your vision for the city? What do we need to do to get there? Who in our community can help us get there?

Mayor Donnie Tuck and City Manager Mary Bunting invite you to the Community Plan kickoff meeting Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Hampton Roads Convention Center. There will be opportunities to help define the key issues and goals and to create a vision of a future Hampton.

Whether your style is to discuss things as a group, walk around the room adding your thoughts or sketching out your vision, there will be a way for you to be heard. RSVP here by Oct. 29 to ensure that we plan for the right amount of people.

If you can’t come Oct. 30, there will be additional opportunities in neighborhood groups, civic and business associations, informal chats, and online polling. You can stay in touch with the conversation by signing up for enews at Hampton.gov/enews.
