May 21, 2018 - Closing out the 2017-2018 season of #HamptonInColor, the Hampton Performing & Creative Arts Center cordially invites you to its final production, "Suessical Jr," this Friday and Saturday, May 25 and 26, at 6 p.m.. Please call 757-766-1510 to reserve your tickets or email at pacinfo@hampton.gov. Advance tickets are $5 and $7 at the door.

Horton the Elephant, the
Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to lifeonstage in this fantastical musical extravaganza from
Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool tothe Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the
Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos.Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must
also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsibleMayzie La Bird.  Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the
intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.  Ultimately, the powersof friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge
triumphant!
