[ARCHIVED] Spend a day with top city leaders and learn valuable information during Hampton 101

March 6, 2018 - What makes Hampton such a unique and livable city? Spend a day with some of the city’s top leaders and learn valuable information about the community during Hampton 101 at Sandy Bottom Nature Park, 1255 Big Bethel Road, on Thursday March 29, from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

You can also take an exclusive bus tour from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and learn more about neighborhood and community initiatives. Space on the bus tour is limited, so register early.

Hosted by Hampton’s Neighborhood Commission, Hampton 101 starts with a welcome from City Council and City Manager Mary Bunting talking about "Hampton and You."

Other topics include "Developing Our Vision" from Hampton's Community Development Department, "Making Development Happen" from the city's Economic Development Office, "Every Child, Every Day, Whatever it Takes!" from Hampton City Schools, and "Working Together to Make a Safer Place to Live," from Hampton Police.
