Dec. 7, 2017 - The inclement weather forecast has forced another change for the weekend. Vendors and music for the Hampton History Museum's Holiday Market will move indoors Saturday to the Ruppert Sargent Building, 1 Franklin St. That's about a block from the museum, which will remain home to elaborate train displays, face painting, gallery tours, heirloom ornament making and more. Free coffee and doughnuts will be available, while supplies last, courtesy of the Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau. For a complete Holiday Market schedule, visit the calendar at www.hampton.gov.

Also this weekend:

  • The lighted boat parade scheduled for Friday night has been canceled due to the weather, with cold temperatures and rain forecast.
  • Several downtown streets  - including Settlers Landing Road and Eaton Street - will be closed Saturday evening for Holiday Lift Off, the Peninsula's largest annual illuminated parade.  Street closing list.
