[ARCHIVED] Hampton staff celebrate Halloween in style

City staff made the most of Halloween by decorating the offices and dressing up.

The Office of the Assessor got creative with costumes. The staff themed their outfits on "Your Favorite Hampton Building." See the results below.

They came up with three Coliseums — including a hat with lights and a hat with dancing bears and Grateful Dead music from the band's May 1986 concert.

Other Hampton buildings were the Carousel, Hampton University's Downtown Office Building, Rite Aid, the City Jail, the steam plant and a childhood home.

The folks at 311 took time to decorate pumpkins, at bottom, for Halloween.
