Aug. 29, 2017 - There are scattered reports of weather related problems in Hampton. Public Works said that there is some flooding in the Beach Road, Grundland Drive area of Hampton. And the city's Parks and Recreation department said Northampton Community Center is closing for the day - and all evening programs are cancelled - because of flooding in the parking lot.

The National Weather Service in Wakefield said a weather system moving up the coast will cause wind gusts up to 45-55 mph this afternoon into the evening, coastal flooding, and flooding rain. Residents are encouraged to avoid driving on or through flooded roadways.
