[ARCHIVED] Emerging Leaders Society kickoff meeting at Tradition Brewing

Are you interested in helping those in need? Do you want to learn from top leaders in our community and be a leader yourself? If those aspects, and proximity to good beer, appeal to you, this might be the event for you. United Way of the Virginia Peninsula is excited to launch its new affinity group, the Emerging Leaders Society, at 5 p.m. July 17 at Tradition Brewing Co., 700 Thimble Shoals Blvd in Newport News. This kickoff will be a great networking opportunity and a chance to hear from some of the community's most philanthropic leaders. Learn more about ELS at this first event.

5:30-6:30 p.m.: Leadership & Panel

What is the Emerging Leaders Society?

They are a passionate group of United Way donors in their 20s and 30s who work to ensure that every child succeeds in school, our community is a safe and healthy place, and those living here have financial stability. They are the next generation of philanthropic leaders on the Virginia Peninsula.
