[ARCHIVED] Sandy Bottom Nature Park Hosts Easter Eggstravaganza

April 10, 2017 - Celebrate the arrival of spring at Sandy Bottom Nature Park during the annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be 10 Easter egg hunts held throughout the day, starting every half-hour, the first set begins at 10 a.m. The hunts are broken up by age groups - 3 to 6 years and 7 to 12 years - and there will only be 250 tickets sold for each group and can be purchased the day of the event. Tickets are $5. Only one hunt per child, per age group. 

Each child that participates in an egg hunt will receive a goodie bag that will include educational and nature based materials, along with a small toy and candy. In addition to the Easter egg hunts, children will also have a chance to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The cost is $8.00. Other activities include a children’s craft area, food sales, and much more.
