“We wanted to expand to the Peninsula in order to be accessible to all of Hampton Roads,“ said Kristen Sill, manager of Escape Room Virginia Beach. “Peninsula Town Center offers a number of attractions in one central area. Our customers have the opportunity to eat, drink, and shop before and after escaping (or attempting to escape) our rooms.”
Escape Room Virginia offers a variety of immersive games where you follow clues to solve puzzles and unlock the room to “escape” before an hour is up. The Virginia Beach location (ERVB) features 4 different rooms with themes including Traveling Crook, Inheritance, Con-Artist, and Detention Hall. With the new location, Escape Room Virginia Peninsula is developing new themes for their escape rooms and will be incorporating more technology.
“With the new location, we helped design the floorplan and we were strategic with the room structure to better fit our themes and new technology,” Sill said. “The ERVP rooms are going to be groundbreaking. We have developed themes that you can’t find anywhere else. We experimented with everything from the perspective of our players to what decade the room is set in.”
