[ARCHIVED] HCCC Looking for Photos, Videos, Other Media for Volunteer Recognition

Hampton Clean City Commission Logo

The Hampton Clean City Commission is looking for photos, videos, and other media to highlight volunteers at the annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner in October. The event will highlight the many ways that volunteers contribute to keeping Hampton clean and beautiful.

Here are the basic facts we’re looking for:

Who you are (individual and group if you’re part of one):

What you do:

Where you do it:

Why you do it:

What you get out of it – what’s in it for you:

Not only will HCCC use these to highlight volunteers at the recognition dinner, but we will also use them to highlight your work on our social media feeds and in newsletters and announcements.

So please – send any of the following:
• Group / Individual pictures (make sure we know who’s in them and that you have permission to send them to us)
• Before and after shots of your work
• Something about your work that catches your eye (a lot of litter in a ditch or maybe someone walking right past the mess)
• Photos of bags of trash / weeds you’ve cleaned up
• Your group could hold up a sign or banner with your message if you want to.
• Funny, serious, or in-between pictures
• Anything you think will tell the story of why you put so much time and effort into choosing to keep Hampton clean and beautiful.

We look forward to getting your submissions – we really want to make this dinner special for all of you (recognizing that we have a very limited budget…). Materials may be sent to hccc@hampton.gov.
