[ARCHIVED] Mayor's Cup Blood Drive on Wednesday, June 29th

The recent Orlando tragedy illustrates the importance of having blood readily available on the shelves in the event of an emergency. In response to this horrific shooting, the American Red Cross is providing a small number of blood products to support hospitals in the Orlando, Florida area. The need for blood is real and critical at this time – and we know there are some who would like to help by donating blood.

The City of Hampton in partnership with the American Red Cross will be conducting a blood drive on Wednesday, June 29th from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the Ruppert Sargent Building.

Please join us in this life-saving mission by scheduling your appointment today at www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code: HamptonCity in the “Find a Blood Drive” box. If you have never signed in as a donor before, you can create an account by clicking Account Login at the top of the page.

Every donation matters, more than ever right now – Remember, WALK-INS are always welcome.

If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (757) 727-6735.

Thank you for all you do to help save lives, today and always!
