[ARCHIVED] Citizens' Unity Commission & partners host Civility Expressions contest

May 7, 2015 - Express civility your way: Tell or show what it means to promote more civility in our daily life. Enter an original essay, poem or artwork, or present a spoken word, musical presentation or dance, and you could win $100-$500.

The contest is open to Hampton residents of all ages. In honor of May as Civility Month, the Citizens’ Unity Commission is promoting this contest as one of the many ways we can all be more aware of civility and practice being more civil to one another. Entries must be received by June 1. See entry details, as well as civility tips, at www.hampton.gov/civility
