Voices That Vote online watch party

Wednesday, October 7, 2020

Voices That Vote, an artistic online gathering about the journey of your voting rights, will be on Facebook live Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 6-6:30 p.m. Hampton Mayor Donnie Tuck and Gregory T. DeCinque, interim president of Thomas Nelson Community College, will provide an opening greeting and talk about the importance of voting. You'll also get to enjoy musical performances by Donald Hurdle (Soul and R&B); Donavan Devlin (inspirational/contemporary); and Missunderstood (Pop and R&B). You can register online for the bipartisan Voices that Vote, or watch it live on the Citizens' Unity Commission's Facebook page. Voices that Vote is part of a series of new online broadcasts entitled "Just for GP, the Community Speaks," which was created by Thomas Nelson Community College, the City of Hampton and the Good People Group. For more information, email unity@hampton.gov.
