CANCELED: Artists Who Teach 2020 exhibit opening

Due to coronavirus concerns, this event has been canceled but may be rescheduled. Artists Who Teach is an annual exhibition that presents the artwork of our talented regional arts educators from the entire Coastal Virginia region – the Southside and the Peninsula. Artwork in all media are represented by current faculty at area schools and colleges. Featured awards are the David J. Levinson Best in Show Award ($1,000) and First ($500), Second ($250) and Third ($100) Place awards. Artist and educator Clay McGlamory will be juror and select the award winners for the exhibition. McGlamory taught at Old Dominion University for 19 years and has been teaching at the Governor’s School for the Arts for 28 years. He runs his own press, Half Ass Press, based in Norfolk, and is current President of the Virginia Glass Guild.
