Hampton Roads Veg Fest

At the fourth annual Hampton Roads VegFest on November 3 at Mill Point Park in Hampton, thousands of vegans and curious carnivores with mouth-watering plant-based delights, from juices to juicy veggie burgers, pizza, desserts, and everything in between. Omnivore favorites like Cast Iron Catering, Sofrito, and Plaza Del Sol will join the roster of vegan staples like Fruitive, The Green Cat, and Honest Pastures with 100% vegan menus that entice attendees to try out healthier, kinder, and more compassionate eating. My Vegan Sweet Tooth, whose fare consistently sells out by mid-afternoon, will also attend. VegFest will also present nationally acclaimed speakers, a beer garden with local favorites, live music, a kids’ zone, a healing arts tent, adoptable animals from local rescue organizations, and more than 70 vendors and non-profits. This year's main stage headliner is 80’s show band The Deloreans.

Hip hop artist Grey, known for his 2016 viral “Vegan Thanksgiving” video, leads the
speaker roster alongside Brenden and Carly of the Sustainable Duo, Might Be Vegan founder Kimberly Barnes, and "If You’ve Ever Loved An Animal, Go Vegan" author Dr. Joanne Kong. The first 100 attendees will also receive a free swag bag, stuffed with vegan goodies and coupons from brands like GoMacro, Dr. Bronner’s, Orgain, Follow Your Heart, and more.

The festival is is sponsored by local businesses  My Vegan Sweet Tooth, The Green Cat,
Nutrition for a Lifetime, Hemp House Wellness, Green Compass, and Whole Foods, as well as non-profits A Well-Fed World, VegFund, Vegan Action, and the Downtown Hampton Development Partnership.
