Iftar Dinner Program - Breaking Bread While Building Bridges

Wednesday, May 29, 2019

Iftar is traditional meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during Ramadan. Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and a period of prayer and fasting. You’re invited to participate in the annual gathering of Muslim and non-Muslim citizens to celebrate and learn more about Ramadan to provide a message of peace and a positive regard among our communities. Mayor Donnie R. Tuck will be our keynote speaker. This is a wonderful opportunity to build relationships and join the conversation on diversity and inclusion while breaking bread. To register, call Hampton’s 3-1-1 Citizen Contact Center at 3-1-1 or 757-727-8311.
