Tornado Bait performs at Hampton History Museum

Wednesday, October 18, 2017

With a show that is more than a little bit country, and a whole lot of rock and roll, presented with spirited theatrics and including rousing interaction with the audience, Hampton’s Tornado Bait, roars into the Hampton History Museum for a special performance. Fronted by “Msesippi” McQuown, Tornado Bait is an Americana, third generation country, rock 'n' roll band. Their repertoire includes originals and covers from a wide array of genres performed in their own style that can best be described as “Grunge Grass.” This gaggle of musicians prides themselves on crowd participation. They are known for handing out instruments to break the barrier between the musicians and their fans.

Front Porch Music Series
Held in the Great Hall on the third Wednesday of each month, the Hampton History Museum’s Front Porch Music Series presents different genres and of music that have shaped the American soundscape and influenced talent in Hampton Roads’ vibrant music scene.
