Donation Policy

While we appreciate and need community donations some donations are a risk especially used items for children that do not have original packing materials and user guides. With the large number of items being recalled on a daily basis HFP is erring on the side of caution with donations.

Items We Accept

Books
Diapers – in original packaging
Food – during holidays only, in original packaging, no homemade items
Gently used children's clothing
Gift cards and monetary donations
New (in original box) - toys, strollers, playpens, high chairs
New clothing for children
New shoes
Safety items (baby gates, outlet plugs, knob covers etc)
Unopened Formula and baby food

Items Not Accepted

Any and all adult clothes and shoes
Any and all plush animals
Car seats
Stained, torn or inappropriate children's clothes
Used toys, strollers, playpens, potty seats, high chairs, cribs, household appliances, children's shoes
