Winter Break Camps

Operation Winter BreakOperation Winter Break begins when Hampton City Schools are dismissed for winter break. Parents or guardians must provide food and snack for campers. Field trips are an additional cost. Camp options are Dashing Through Your Winter Break, for ages 6-10; Amplify Your Winter Break, for ages 11-15; and Slide Into Winter Fun Week, for ages 6-15.

For Younger Kids — Dashing Through Your Winter Break

Youth will enjoy fun-filled activities complete with cool adventures through learning how to swim, rock climbing and much more.

  • Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Ages: 6-10
  • Members: $16/day
  • Non-members: $25/day 
  • Must provide own lunch and snack.

For Teens — Amplify Your Winter Break Week

Teens will take flight around town and discover the hidden treasures of Hampton while hanging out with new and old friends. Activities include: swimming, art and design, field trips, and more.

  • Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Ages: 11-15
  • Members: $16/day
  • Non-members: $25/day 
  • Must provide own lunch and snack.

Open Recreation — Slide Into Winter Fun Week

This is your last STOP for the week. Drop your student off for a week full of winter fun and activities.

  • Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. (Open Recreation w/membership 2 - 6 p.m.)
  • Ages: 6-15
  • Must have annual membership + $30 per participant (for the entire week)
  • Field trips are additional fees 
  • Must provide own lunch and snack.
